  • Two daughters – Jean is 4 years old – sorry, 4 1/2 years old – and Ila was born in April
  • MacKenzie, the beagle, is 9
  • Grew up on a farm (cattle, sheep, hogs, row crops) in Moville, Iowa where Mom and Dad live today

  • Shakopee’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan - Parks, trails and open spaces committee
  • Come Together for Shakopee – Chair of group promoting referendum on Community Center improvements
  • Hearts & Hammers – Home Coordinator from 2006 to 2010
  • Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Assn – Landscape Management Chair
  • Professional Landcare Network (National Assn for Landscape) – Landscape Management Committee
  • Teach classes through the MPCA on Landscape maintenance for better water quality (it is more interesting than it sounds)
